ABOUT TRIBE/MASK
Kifwebe masks belong to the accoutrements of a society of the same name that to this day enjoys extreme respect among the eastern Songye. The masks are usually designed as a single entity or will sometimes be adorned with raffia surrounding the face. The masks are worn by men who protect their ruler also in the face of war. Common feature of any Songye masks is the "Smooch", a puckered lip gesture.

Please note these are traditional/old masks. Imperfections are to be expected such as dings and minor cracks. We do our best to showcase the mask using as many photos as possible. Mask is in excellent condition
MASK DISPLAY
Most African masks require the use of a "Metal V Display Stand". These are great for holding African masks if your intention is to display this on a table top, window bay etc. These are easily available on marketplaces such as Etsy and Ebay. Please note we do not supply these.

We require 2-4 business days to process and package each order carefully. All shipping will be made via FedEx Ground. Our return policy is strictly 14 days from the time you receive your order and confirmed as delivered. All returns are paid by the customer regardless of reason/cause. All returns must be in their original shipped condition.
